Alana Blanchard (birth date 03/05/1990) rose to prominence as a professional surfer and model. She surfed on the ASP World Tour. Alana won the 2005 T&C Women’s Pipeline Championship as well as 5 others.

Aside from that, she designs and models for Rip Curl swimwear, especially wetsuits for surfing. Her sponsors were Ref, SPY Optic, GoPro, Channel Islands, etc. In 2011, Lorraine Nicholson played a character based on Alana in Soul Surfer.
